CBSE Class 12 Toppers List 2024 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on May 13, 2024. Here are the Names of the CBSE Class 12 Toppers List 2024 along with their obtained marks and ranks.
CBSE Class 12th Toppers List 2024: After the CBSE Class 12th results were officially declared on May 13, 2024, everyone eagerly awaited the release of the toppers list. More than 24,000 students scored above 95 percent, and over 1.16 lakh students secured marks above 90 percent, showcasing their outstanding performance in the exams.
This highlights the exceptional performances of students, displaying their ranks and scores in the CBSE Class 12th exams. The scorecard will contain important details such as result status, marks obtained by students, and other relevant information.
Students will need to provide the necessary details to view and download their results. The toppers list will feature the names of students who have secured top ranks, along with their respective marks and school names.
There has been a noticeable improvement as the pass percentage for CBSE Class 12th rises to 87.98% from 87.33% in 2023.
CBSE Class 12th Toppers List 2024
In 2023, CBSE decided not to release a merit list for Class 12 to avoid unhealthy competition among students. Instead, it opted not to award first, second, or third divisions. The board mentioned it would recognize the top 0.1 percent of students with merit certificates for scoring the highest marks in subjects.
As per last year’s decision, CBSE may not announce the topper list for Class 12 in 2024. However, if the Board decides otherwise and shares the CBSE 12th Science Topper List 2024, it will be available on this page.

CBSE Class 12th Toppers List 2022
CBSE took a different approach this year, refraining from releasing the official list of CBSE Class 12 toppers due to the COVID -19 pandemic circumstances. However, despite this decision, notable performances have emerged. Divyanshi Jain, a student from Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School in Lucknow, secured the top position in the class 12 exams with an impressive score of 600 marks. Her outstanding performance across subjects like English, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Insurance, and Economics has earned her recognition.
Several underprivileged and physically challenged students showcased remarkable achievements in the exams. Palak Gupta, a student from Amity International School in Delhi, overcame challenges associated with spastic hemiplegia and attained an exceptional score of 95.4%.
Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia, Rhea Negi, a national-level shooter, achieved an impressive score of 90.6%. Another inspiring example is Hriday Gupta, who, despite facing difficulties in grasping concepts quickly, secured a commendable score of 93% in the CBSE Class 12 exams. These students exemplify resilience, determination, and the ability to overcome obstacles to achieve academic success.
CBSE Class 12th Toppers List 2021
In the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the academic calendar, the CBSE Class 12 examinations for the academic year 2020-21 could not be conducted. Instead, students’ past performance data was utilized to determine their results. Surprisingly, this unconventional approach resulted in a significant surge in the pass percentage, with an impressive 99.37% of students successfully clearing the class 12 exams. This marked the highest number of students ever to clear the CBSE examination in a single year.
Among the top performers, Hiteshwar Sharma emerged as a standout achiever, having previously secured the title of national topper in Class 10. In 2021 he secured the first position in Class 12.
